Social Service
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
The most self-satisfying commitment I’ve ever made is the act of serving society. I take immense pride in my volunteering journey, which began during my student years, through renowned organizations that bring together a youth workforce dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the community.
As a leader, I have had the privilege of coordinating several impactful projects aimed at improving the lives of underserved and vulnerable communities. Some of the notable initiatives I’ve contributed to include:
-
Snehaksharam Project: Ensuring continuity of education for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
-
Vayomithram Project: Focused on the upliftment and welfare of the elderly.
-
Punarjani Project: Dedicated to the maintenance and preservation of public assets.
I believe that the vast potential of the youth workforce can be harnessed for practical, socially committed projects that uplift and empower communities. The feeling of completeness I experience from uniting students to work toward a common cause is a reflection of our collective potential to make a difference. It is through such service that we truly express the best of who we are.
Some of the recognitions I’ve received for my volunteering efforts include:
-
UN-Albertian Foundation Student Ambassador for Climate Action (2020-21)
-
Best NSS Volunteer Award – APJAKTU NSS Cell (2020-21)
-
Appreciation Letter for completing 1000 hours of volunteering during the COVID-19 crisis (Govt. of Kerala)
Feel free to connect with me for coordinating social campaigns and volunteering initiatives
